Corporate Liaison Committee
The North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS) recently was established as a non profit organization whose primary purpose is to improve neuroendocrine tumor disease management through increased research and educational opportunities. To successfully accomplish this mission, NANETS recognizes that corporate industry’s allied members play a vital role. Therefore, NANETS has created the Corporate Liaison Committee. The goals of this group are to institute effective ways to communicate with all levels of the NANETS membership and establish mutually beneficial relationships between professional and allied members.
Following is a description of the committee. If you would like to join or need additional information about the benefits to your company, please contact NANETS at info@nanets.net or call Kari Brendtro (360) 314.4112.
Corporate Liaison Committee
The Vice Chair of the Executive Committee is Chair and Speaker of the Corporate Liaison Committee (CLC). This committee is comprised of individuals (allied members) from corporate industry with an interest in the execution of the NANETS’s mission and will serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and corporate officers. Only one representative from each corporation can be a CLC member and will serve for a period of three years. If for some reason the member cannot serve for the full term, the allied affiliate can appoint an alternate member. The Speaker of the CLC may participate in the Board of Director meetings but shall have no voting power on subjects related to this committee. There will be an annual membership fee to join the CLC which will be established and voted on by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
