 Dr. Dasari completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA and his medical oncology & drug development fellowship at the University of Colorado Cancer Center, Aurora, CO. Dr. Dasari also received an M.S. in Human Genetics from the University of Pittsburgh.

Since joining MD Anderson in 2011, Dr. Dasari’s clinical focus has been on neuroendocrine malignancies and he currently serves as the co-Chair of the MD Anderson multi-disciplinary neuroendocrine tumor board. Dr. Dasari’s research interests extend to clinical, translational and outcomes work in gastrointestinal cancers with a particular emphasis on neuroendocrine tumors. He serves as the principal investigator of several clinical trials and research projects on neuroendocrine tumors. He is currently on the NCI Task Force for Neuroendocrine Tumors and also on the Website / Communications and Conference Organizing Committees for NANETS.
