Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation and National Medical Fellowships Programs in Collaboration with the AACR

03.15.2022 8:00 am - 11:30 pm

The Letter of Intent submission deadline has been extended to March 15 for the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation (BMSF) Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Program (DCTCDP).

The BMSF and National Medical Fellowships have created these community-oriented programs to increase inclusion, equity, and diversity in the conduct of clinical and translational research. The initiative is comprised of the BMSF DCTCDP for early-stage clinical investigators and the BMSF CIPP for medical students.

As part of the BMSF DCTCDP, the AACR will convene a multidisciplinary, intensive Educational Workshop that will introduce early-stage investigators underrepresented in medicine (as defined by the National Science Foundation), or physicians who have a demonstrated commitment to increasing diversity in clinical research, to the principles of effective clinical trial design and community engagement.
