Neil Renwick MBChB, PhD

Research, Pathology and Molecular Medicine, Queen’s University in Canada

After obtaining his MD from the University of Otago and his PhD from the University of Amsterdam, Dr. Renwick trained in Anatomic and Molecular Pathology at Columbia University. He subsequently received an NIH K08 award for mentored training in RNA Molecular Biology from Prof. Thomas Tuschl at The Rockefeller University.

Dr. Renwick’s clinical and academic research efforts involve systems pathology, rare disease research, microRNA-guided diagnostics, and microRNA-mediated gene regulation in neuroendocrine tumors. He is currently a SEAMO New Clinician Scientist and Director of Postgraduate Pathology Residency Training at Queen’s University.

Dr. Renwick is a member of the College of American Pathologists, Canadian Association of Pathologists, and the North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society.
