General Questions about the Virtual Symposium

There will be educational, NETworking and sponsor engagement opportunities in November and December 2021. Be sure to participate in all of the virtual programming this fall! Allied Health Workshop- November 3, 2021 Early Career Seminar and Virtual Poster Session- November 4, 2021 Sponsor Advisory Board Meetings leading up to the Symposium, Multidisciplinary NET Medical Virtual Symposium- November 5-6, 2021 Future of NETs- December 9, 2021
The recent surge in COVID-19 infections across the U.S. from the delta variant and the transmission of COVID-19 to children has made it challenging for large numbers of medical professionals to convene safely in person and continue to protect themselves, their patients, families, and communities. Based on the ever-changing COVID-19 trajectory, and the feedback of our membership, presenting faculty and staff, NANETS has decided pivot to a fully virtual event for the 2021 NANETS' Annual Multidisciplinary NET Symposium previously scheduled for an in-person event in Chicago, IL. While we are all disappointed in having to pivot again this year to a Virtual event we are hopeful that we will be able to successfully transition as we did in 2020 where we had over 500 participants and so much positive feedback following the event. NANETS truly appreciates your understanding and is excited to have you take part in this educationalvirtual program.  Currently registered attendees will automatically be registered for the virtual symposium. All registration rates will remain the same. NANETS is cancelling the late registration fee option. The standard fee will apply going forward, with no late registration penalty. Registration will remain open until the live symposium date.
The prices are listed by member category on the registration page. Non-member’s registration also includes a 1-year membership. With the pivot to virtual NANETS has eliminated the late registration fee, standard rate will apply until for the rest of the registration period.
You can register for the Virtual Symposium here.  Once you register you will receive a confirmation email. Links to the virtual platform will be shared with all of the registered attendees closer to the event date.
Yes, absolutely! Although attending the live Virtual Symposium will provide the most interactive experience, all session content is available for viewing on-demand following the live broadcast. Yes. There will be a Virtual Poster Hall where attendees will have the ability to ask the authors questions through the chat feature. Content can easily be searched, and participants can flag posters/abstracts they would like to visit again as well as save a PDF version of the poster.

The Virtual Exhibit Hall will give attendees the ability to visit custom sponsor booths, browse through the resources and schedule appointments to meet with vendor staff members. Don’t miss out on this special virtual engagement opportunity! NANETS is very grateful to all of our sponsors for helping make the 2021 Virtual Symposium possible.
The on-demand content will be hosted for 90 days following the event.
