ENDOCRINE-RELATED CANCER

In early January NANETS announced that it entered into an agreement with Bioscientifica for publication of NANETS’ research work in its scientific journal, Endocrine Related Cancer (ERC), a premier global forum for basic, translational and clinical research on hormones and cancers, with over 40,000 unique users and a 5.678 impact factor.

ERC is an official flagship journal of the Society for Endocrinology and is endorsed by the European Society of Endocrinology, the Japanese Hormones and Cancer Society and the Endocrine Society of Australia.

NANETS is a multidisciplinary consortium of dedicated oncology professionals with a NET specialty or an interest in learning about NET disease and a desire to have a network of multidisciplinary medical professionals who specialize in NET disease. Doctoral Member - $155.00

Physicians (MD/DO) and Other doctoral-level providers/researchers (e.g. epidemiologists, biostatisticians, scientists) who devote majority of professional activity to the care and treatment of patients with cancer (or function as integral members of a multidisciplinary team of providers caring for NET patients), and/or conducting NET related research, and/or education related to the biology, diagnosis, prevention or treatment of NETs (Excluding pharmaceutical doctoral level professionals). Doctoral members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Early Career Member - $105.00

Individuals within first 3 years of completion of an approved subspecialty training program and who qualify for “full” Doctoral membership. Early Career members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Emeritus Member - $55.00

Individuals age 70+, fully retired and no longer in the healthcare field or permanently disabled. Emeritus members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Advanced Practice Provider Member - $85.00

Nurse practitioner, physician assistant, clinical nurse specialists, advanced degree nurses and pharmacists.Advanced Practice Provider members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Allied Health Member - $65.00

Nutritionist, social worker, radiation therapist, pharmacy technician, and nurses. Allied Health Member members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Affiliated Health Professional Member - $65.00

Research assistants/staff, practice administrators and other health specialists. Affiliated Health Professional members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Associate Member - $55.00

Post-docs, fellows and residents. Associate members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Student Member - $45.00

Medical students, graduate students and undergraduate students who are enrolled in a biomedical, nursing or allied health programs. Student members shall be entitled to one vote on all matters for which a membership vote is permitted by law and these Bylaws, the Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws.

Pharmaceutical Employee - Doctoral Level - $235.00

MD, DO, PhD, and Other doctoral-level providers/researchers (e.g. biostatisticians, scientists) who work for pharmaceutical companies. 

Pharmaceutical Employee - Non-Medical/Non-Research Employee - $235.00

Marketing, promotions, other areas of employment within a pharmaceutical company that are not outlined above. These members will receive the same information and benefits as all other NANETS member categories, however, attending medical conference sessions is limited to medical professionals, unless otherwise specified. 

NET Organization Executive/Senior Staff - $105.00

Executives and senior staff who work for NET foundations, non-profits and organizations. Attending medical conference sessions is limited to only the executive/senior staff of the NET organization.
